It's a shame that the amount of mushrooms I've found dwindles as time passes. And so far in 2026 I haven't even seen any.

I just haven't had the chance to go looking for any.

On a serious note, 2025 was one of the hardest years of my life. The struggles started late 2024 and lasted all through 2025. Now I feel like I'm really only just starting to recover a claw myself from the depths of my own self pity..

For what it's worth I do think this will be my year by the end

What a pain. Spent so much time just trying to route the cable through the wall. Had to put a hole in the wall and everything. luckily we have drop ceilings so the hole is totally hidden above those (is that lucky? becuase they're ugly but... it works out in this case). And that was such a pain to do becuase I have so much shelving and stuff where we needed to put the hole. And now I have drywall to clean up. Aw well.

The point is the ethernet is not working as expected and I feel like I've tried everything. All the settings, updated drivers, I even plugged the cable into my sister's laptop and it worked just fine there with nearly 1gbps speeds whereas on my pc it's barely reaching 10mbps.

Last ditch effort basically just to update my BIOS and if that doesn't work then well... I guess I'm just gonna get a nice wifi adapter to replace the one I have since wifi seems to actually work. What a mess, what a pain, shouldn't it just work fine? Again, aw well.

I also made an amtrak train button thing. I'm really quite proud of it, I think it looks super cute. I think it would be cool to eventually make a ton of different trains.
